Lighthouse srl provides the management and data processing from electronic and computer devices installed into the marina, and the creation of organizational modules, based on data collected by administration.
It was created to optimize the marina management from the viewpoint of either the administrative viewpoint, or structural.
Lighthouse srl is an entirely web based application. This marina business solution is a tool which enables operators to manage administrative procedures easily.
The software also warns them in case of possible anomaly, which can interfere with the regular process of marina management.
It also provides monitoring the transit of people, vehicles, vessels in the area of the marina, so that, to improve the security level, it is possible to control the whole marina.
The modular architecture of this marina management system software makes it easy and functional to use, since it was created to facilitate the several administrative procedures, buying time.
Lighthouse consists of two different applications: administration and management modules.
The administration module deals with:
customers, suppliers, and employers data; vessels and parking data; bookings; sales and locations of berths and parking spaces; files and proxies management; invoicing, takings, credit notes, order papers, and packing lists; business expenses, and their sharing; employers work planning and shifts; work files, maintenance, and store.
The management module deals with:
control of going in/going out of people, vessels and vehicles, to guarantee more security, and of employers; berths planning; control of drinking and industrial water, and of electricity; load and unload by customers, or authorized dealers; monitor surveillance; manual lifting of entry/exit bar; diagnostics of malfunctioning; automatic sending/receiving of SMS to notify possible malfunctioning, or transit of vessels, and monitoring, thanks to a synoptic visualization, of the marina activities, and presence of vessels in the authorized berths.
The system:
WIFI antenna system, which is set at the marina entrance, recognizes vessel position, thanks to the transponder device on it, granting the capillary check of services linked to each craft.
Thanks to the integration with Lighthouse System each traffic is registered and linked to foreseen specific actions:
• sending of SMS to marina staff, and to vessel owner, if he enters in, or goes out from the marina,
• dialogue with the administrative and management marina software for services supply and billing.
The transponder, which can be installed, in few minutes, on every kind of craft, allows each marina, having Lighthouse System the location, and recognition of all vessels included into the shared Lighthouse database.
Immediately, the system will gain knowledge of vessel type, customer data, and his requirements. In this way, the marina can welcome each customer at its best, being able in making him always feel welcome and at ease.
The buoys, used by Lighthouse to check marina waters, concentrate in a small space a great laboratory, completely self-sufficient.
The tools installed on board allow check in real time the peculiar features which describe a possible pollution of water mirror. The buoy system allows the possibility to intervene just at the beginning, being able to stop the source of contamination and the potential spread of polluting agents, before it is exceedingly expensive.
Lighthouse devices for services supply, activate, using a badge, which is customized for each client. They are monitored and managed in real time by Lighthouse system.
Immediately, the marina will obtain information on the quantity of services supplied by each device, and it will be possible to easily modify type and cost of each marina supplier. Costs will be automatically charged to each customer, without employing the marina staff in meter reading.
The control tower is the nerve centre of Lighthouse computer devices. The software:
• shows customer and vessel data, vessel traffic,
• monitors docks thanks to television cameras,
• sends specific messages to staff and customers,
• automatically communicates with the accounting software,
• check waters quality.
